Whilst I respect Dr Vassa greatly I disagree with the underlying argument that unless the Church cannons are reformed people will continue to "vote with their feet and leave". This myth was perpetuated in the Catholic church and change that was supposed to make the church more accessible and friendly to people in practice had the opposite effect. We have a saying in Britain, " If it aint broke don't fix it!" and it aint broke.
